Marc Homan lives in Bredene, is married and has three sons.

From 1980-1989, Marc worked at Arthur Andersen & Co (Audit & consulting) before taking the position of Operations Manager Belgium and Luxembourg at Apple. In 1991, he started as CFO at SUN International. Between 1997-2013, he worked at the Ter Beke Group as CFO, COO and then CEO. From 2013-2023, he held the positions of CFO and COO at the Colruyt Group.

Today, Marc Hofman holds to position of Independent Director, while also gaining additional professional experience as a lecturer at Ehsal/HUB/Odisee and the Vlerick Management School.

In his spare time, Marc organises events (including sponsorship) for people with disabilities. His hobbies include hiking and vintage American motors.
